About this event
You start by taking your two theory courses online – these are the Guild of Holistic Therapists GTi Level 3 Anatomy and Physiology certificate along with the GTi Professional Standards qualification. The two certificates for these courses are awarded by The Guild of Holistic Therapists GTi training body.
The Hand Reflexology practical training element is two days, and you will be taught in a group of no more than four students – this means you have the teacher’s full attention. You will learn all of the zones and reflex areas, the hand positions and treatment techniques. You will carry out a full consultation, assess the hands and give a full treatment to clients using the full range of reflexology techniques and covering all the reflexes for the body’s systems.
If you are already qualified as a foot reflexologist then you will not need to repeat theory work which you have covered previously – you will probably book straight onto the two-day practical training element of the course.
We believe that complementary therapy treatments should be pleasurable for the client, and so we will introduce you to beautiful products you can obtain at trade prices to bring that extra something to your hand reflexology.
The course is accepted for insurance via the Guild of Holistic Therapists and independent brokers. You will receive a course manual containing all the information covered on the course along with a laminated set of Hand Reflexology charts to guide you in your practice. Everything that you need to carry out the treatments during the course is provided for you and we give you suppliers’ lists so you can source and purchase everything you need to start offering hand reflexology treatments.
The course includes:
