Individual or group therapy

Anxiety and depression is treated by a licensed mental health professional through individual sessions and group therapy sessions. Both types of therapy are beneficial, and sometimes, a therapist recommends that a client attends each type of session to further treatment goals more effectively.

Regular exercise

Exercising routinely has been shown to reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression according to national studies. Getting out and moving raises endorphin levels in the body, which give sensations of joy and happiness.
